• M.L. Elrick (Twitter @elrick/Facebook ML ELRICK/Instagram ml_elrick), Shawn Windsor (Twitter @ShawnWindsor), Marc Fellhauer (Twitter @MarcFell) welcome Fox 2 Detroit Sports Director and Detroit Lions play-by-play man Dan Miller (Twitter @DanMillerFox2) to their huddle in Drew’s basement. Matt Jennings (Twitter @MattRJennings) finally gets a stable connection to the internet, while Joey Zuver remains the only stable element in this chaotic crucible.
• THE STRAIGHT DOPE:  ML is SO grateful to have his friend and former Fox 2 colleague Dan Miller on the show that he swears he won’t waste any of Dan’s time — and then immediately begins plugging his own work at the Detroit Free Press while Dan waits patiently.
• Dan finally gets to impart some wisdom after ML asks him what it feels like to call a game in a completely empty stadium. Dan says it must be a lot like emceeing a meeting of the Shawn Windsor Fan Club. (Not really, but Shawn never reads these show notes, so we figured we could get away with taking a shot here…)
• Marc and Shawn ask Dan a bunch of questions about one of ML’s least favorite football teams that is not based in Ann Arbor (or any city south of the Mason-Dixon Line). Hear what Dan tells them while ML dream weaves.

• GEEK OF THE WEEK: Marc, then Shawn offer their candidates. But ML big foots them by zeroing in on a local Republican leader he caught spouting Fake News, which some people thought was the exclusive domain of the drive-by media and Libtards. Oh, the humanity!
• THIS WEEK IN SOFT HISTORY: Professor Matt Jennings has his best connection — and best material — in weeks. If only he had stopped one item sooner … !
